Rules

• Companies, organizations, businesses and individuals are all eligible to ride in the Bike To Work Corporate Challenge.
• Teams will be competing in the following categories:
  • Solo - Single Riders
  • Small Team - 2-10 riders
  • Medium Team - 11-25 riders
  • Large Team - 26-75 riders
  • Mega Team - 76+ riders

  Your team category will be calculated using the number of riders who ACTUALLY SUBMIT their miles on Bike to Work Day. For instance, if your team has 30 riders signed up but only 20 of them ride and submit their miles, your team will be considered a Medium Team and not a Large Team.

• The winning team from each category will receive a plaque and every winning team rider will receive a t-shirt.
• Every company participating in the Bike to Work Day Corporate Challenge must have a Team Captain.
• The Team Captain's responsibilities are:
  • Register the company on the Bike to Work Day website
  • Get people at your place of employment to join your team
  • Make sure that everyone on your team logs their miles by NOON ON May 21st
  • Team Captains will have access to a Team Captain Dashboard where they can see all the coworkers who have registered. Captains will also be able to track which Team Riders have logged their miles on Bike to Work Day.
• If employees find the website on their own, they can click the VIEW/JOIN TEAM button next to the company name. Team Captains will be able to see team members as they join in the Team Captain Dashboard
• Only miles biked to and from work on May 20th should be logged in the Bike to Work Day Corporate Challenge. .
• Team Riders are responsible for logging their own miles. On May 20th, all team riders will receive an email containing a unique link to log their miles. ALL MILES MUST BE LOGGED BY NOON ON May 21st TO BE CONSIDERED IN COMPETITION. Results will be posted on May 23th at 10am.
